This is my video blog on today's launch of the Action Plan for Jobs, a plan to create 100,000 new jobs by 2016. This is an ambitious strategy to tackle unemployment through the development of key sectors with high potential for growth.
This is not just another report to gather dust. There are 270 pro-job measures in this plan that will be regularly reviewed to ensure they are promoting job creation.
Unemployment is our biggest challenge and number one priority. This plan is an important step in tackling it and I will be working to ensure this plan delivers.
