The festival training programme for youth and community based festivals, now in its second year, is a FREE programme which provides artistic and practical training workshops/sessions. Bookings are now underway and while the closing date was last Monday, it is still possible to book in for some of the sessions.
On board this year to deliver the workshops are MACNAS, BUI BOLG and Makeupfablicious among others. It's brilliant to upskills yourself, learn something new that you can take back to your youth club or festival committee.
The programme is aimed at artists, youth workers, event organisers and those interested in learning more about how festivals work.
We have such an active arts & culture scene here in Ballymun and I'm keen that as many people as possible avail of this opportunity so that we can continue to deliver quality arts events!!
